Yesterday, I sent two different manuscripts to the publisher. After a recent health scare, I decided it was time to stop dragging my feet and get to work, so I did. I had two very distinct and different ideas for stories. One was to write in the fantasy genre that are so popular these days and the second to continue the psychological thriller series of Thomas Quinn. I wrote them both in the course of about twelve weeks. When I would run out of gas with one I would switch to the other. It was preoccupying while I did my rehab and sat anchored in my chair.
I’m kind of anxious to hear how the reception for them goes. Annie Abbott and the Dungeons of Rognap Nar will debut on June 5th, the 2nd Thomas Quinn book, hits the streets in August. Wish them both luck!
Thomas Quinn – “I don’t go looking for trouble. I just don’t step aside when it shows up.”
“You’re asking questions most civilians wouldn’t ask.”
“I’m not most civilians. I’m always trying to be a good man. Sometimes the justice isn’t obvious, that’s where the conflict arises.”
“You look like a cop to me.”
“I’m not a cop.”
“No but you read like one. It takes a while before you’ll be able to sand that identity off.”
Stay tuned!
